Agent Tony Chu, FDA ([personal profile] cibopath) wrote in [personal profile] futurologists 2016-09-26 04:18 pm (UTC)

Hi mods! Danni here, shopping around for a second character-- I'm debating on Tony Chu from Image's Chew, but thought I'd check in regarding his powers first.

Tony Chu is a cibopath in his canon, which means that he receives psychic visions of the history of anything that he consumes. He cannot turn off these abilities, and as a government agent he canonically uses this power to find and trace clues, up to and including the use of cannibalism. (It's gross and he doesn't enjoy it but he's too lawful good to let crimes go unsolved.)

I will DEFINITELY warn for cannibalism content whenever necessary, but if he bites an NPC or tries to eat something plot-related, would it be okay to contact you guys regarding any important information he'd see? Or would an ability like this potentially be too gamebreaky? It's an ability he's had his whole life, so he wouldn't ICly be hesitant to use it if he could. I'm also not opposed to limiting his ability enough to make him appable if it'd be an issue!
