1) As stated in the FAQ, changing usernames is not possible at this time, sorry! If that changes, characters (and players) will know.

2) Animal shapeshifting is a 'big' reward, coming in at 200 coins per spell (as seen here), but it is possible! From an IC perspective, it might be best to wait a month or two between spells to give Graham time to practice and adapt.
