As a note, NPCs will not always be available to reach. They are often busy on their own missions or with other mechanics within ALASTAIR, so please check to be sure the post is currently open before beginning a thread. ICly, a message sent to an unavailable NPC will bounce back to the character that had sent it as an unanswered echo of their original message.
The NPCs should be contacted for plot-relevant purposes and direction only. Think of them more as plot devices than characters.

Anyway, I used to pilot Red. But now I pilot Black. In that way, it is linked to me. Who I am, like it or not. But I get it, none of that really matters here.
Whether it matters or not is irrelevant; it's a limitation in the code. Your unique timeline signature has been entered into our magitek subsystems, which allows us to track you by your jewelcomm throughout the multiverse. It would be a waste of time explaining the math to you, but rest assured it is not possible without completely overhauling our magitek code.
If you were once Redlion, you still must be Redlion in some way. I wouldn't worry about it too much. [ Sorry, Keith; the cats are the magitek experts, so you have to deal with Crowley's admittedly terrible pep talk. ]
As an aside, if you ever come across the schematics for your "big robot lions," I would like to take a look at them.

The lions are made out of a special multiversal comet that can somehow evolve on its own. Schematics don't really exist.
