Here is a post to reach any of the NPCs active within ALASTAIR. Please specify which NPC you are looking to reach in the header of your first comment.
As a note, NPCs will not always be available to reach. They are often busy on their own missions or with other mechanics within ALASTAIR, so please check to be sure the post is currently open before beginning a thread. ICly, a message sent to an unavailable NPC will bounce back to the character that had sent it as an unanswered echo of their original message.
The NPCs should be contacted for plot-relevant purposes and direction only. Think of them more as plot devices than characters.
Hypothetically speaking. Maybe we all hate each other and get in a fistfight and the world goes down in flames — you could scold us, but you'd still relocate everyone, right?
Recruits are easier to move, as we already have your bio-signatures on file. When moving natives, there's more manual work involved. Compare it to scooping a fish with a net vs. with a paw. More concentration is needed in the latter, and there is more room for error. When you are working on limited time, such as in the case of a crumbling world, fixing those errors is a luxury.
Physical contact with a native is a way to better ensure we will be able to move them along with a team. But teams are rarely, if ever, large enough to help us move entire populations.
Put succinctly: 98% success rate for recruits in case of a crumbling world. As for natives, it depends upon many factors.
Holy shit, so you might not even get all us out right if everything goes to shit? [ thanks Crowley, you just solidified her stance on all this. ] Okay. Alright, got it. Thanks.

You're welcome, TARANTO. Please let me know if you need anything further clarified.
