RULES.

RULES
RESPECT EACH OTHER.

Bullying and harassment will not be tolerated. Have fun, but not at the expense of others. If you feel that a player is being disrespectful, please contact a mod. Regardless of what happens ICly, you must be civil to others OOCly.

In addition, please be courteous to the mods and respect the decisions we make. We reserve the right to discipline players who disregard the rules we have laid out or are excessively disrespectful to us.

Please keep in mind that the mods do not view anonymous communities (RPAnons, Wankgate, etc.) in any official capacity. If you see someone acting inappropriately on an anon comm, please bring it directly to the mods and we will take the appropriate action. We take our players' comfort seriously, and bullying or inappropriate behavior is not tolerated, even outside our game communities.


ADHERE TO RP ETIQUETTE.

Stay as IC as you can, don't infomod, don't godmode. You are not your character; don't blur the IC/OOC line. Ask other players before doing things that would significantly impact their characters or things that might make them uncomfortable. Err on the side of caution. Avoid playercest, and don't fourth-wall without another player's permission. Warn for anything that warrants it -- violence, sexual situations, etc. Use your judgment.

Due to their nature, we will not be allowing headcanons regarding sensitive topics (such as gender identity, abuse history, or disabilities) in this game. Unless the presence of the sensitive topic is explicitly stated within the canon or by those affiliated with the making of the canon ('word of God', so to speak), we ask that you respect the comfort of other players and do not write canon characters as having non-canon gender identities, abuse histories, disabilities, or other sensitive headcanons.


COMMUNICATE.

Communicate with other players. If need be, a mod can mediate a conversation between you and a player you're having a problem with, but please attempt to communicate with them one-on-one first. For the comfort of everyone involved, do not speak for others or bring your concerns to an individual as a group.

Micromanaging other players is not allowed; if a player is trying to tell you how to play your character beyond friendly critique, please contact the mods immediately.

Additionally, if you feel that you're having a problem with the mods and our conduct or if you simply want to discuss something, please let us know. We strive to foster an open, collaborative relationship between mods and players, and direct communication is the best way to make sure everyone is on the same page.


THREE STRIKES, YOU'RE OUT.

We understand making mistakes. However, if it begins to become a pattern, you will get two warnings before you're asked to leave the game in the third. This is for the comfort of our players. The mods reserve the right to circumvent the three-strike rule at our discretion.
